Am I able to run a script again by pressing certian

Not without help from a third party. There are a number of utilities
that can launch scripts with a keystroke. I happen to use Unsanity's
MenuMaster to assign keys to items in the script menu
(<http://www.unsanity.com/haxies/menumaster>), but a Google search will
turn up some more.
You mentioned stay-open applications in an earlier post--for these, you
could use the `on reopen` handler, which is triggered by any of the
actions that would've opened the script in the first place (including
clicking it in the dock--neat feature). Not sure if that's what you're
looking for, or if you really just want to launch scripts with a
hotkey.
