Title: RE: AppleScript SOAP implementation
It is a big, quite complex web publishing system, and as the only Mac user I couldn’t really claim a system wide change just for me. This is the problem in a nutshell, Mac solutions must work seamless.
I am working on a magazine and my aim was to simplify the web publishing via AS and SOAP. The system have a web interface and I have to settle with that (like the PC users). Problem 2 is that the system requires MS Internet Explorer 6 so I need to use either RDC or a Citrix client.
Simon, thanks anyway for your info.

Yes, you'd need to change the web service. Sorry.
Do the other PC users use the web service that you require changing? Or could the PC admins provide you with your own?
Simon
ps. Don't you just love helpful PC admins?

As I mentioned, I don’t know much about web services, but my admin people says your solution means changing the settings of the web service. I work on a agency with four Macs and 1 000 pc, so they won’t make any changes just to satisfy me.
Or am my admin people wrong?
