I knew this syntax but as far as I know, it doesn't allow me to pass the contents in the clipboard with ALL its attributes as a cmd C of a selected area does.


When I used the term "selected" I mean "selected as the highlighted range that we may grab with cmd - C or cmd - X.

Grabbing the raw text is perfectly useless (for me).
