Well, if you've got a choice of two methods and you've written the app in
whatever-C then I doubt that you're going to bother inserting an AppleScript
Automator Action when you can see Cocoa Automator Action sitting below it.
But my point was that either choice allows you to avoid creating a proper
script suite that will be useful to proper AppleScripters.
An app with a big script suite and a copy of Script Debugger is a joy. My
worry is that we're going to be seeing "Result Code = 1006" every time a new
application is released :-(
