I'm still trying to do this and having only partial success.

I can use GUI scripting to control the control panel and display/hide the
Ink window.

But I also want to control the position of the Ink window. It appears that
these values are stored in com.apple.ink.framework.plist

But changing them doens't do anything. For instance:

1. Close the ink window and System Preferences

2. Drag a copy of com.apple.ink.framework.plist to the desktop.

3. Open ink preferences, show the ink window, move the window, close system
preferences again.

4. Drag your desktop copy of com.apple.ink.framework.plist into user
preferences replacing the updated copy.

5. Reopen the Ink window. It opens in the location set in step 3.


So how do preferences get refreshed really?
