Stefan,
I believe that iMagine Photo is probably what you are looking for.
It can run as a background only application, if that is what you want and all drawing can be done offscreen.
Check out http://www.yvs.eu.com/imaginephoto.html
and
http://www.yvs.eu.com/imagine.html
The documentation section:
http://www.yvs.eu.com/documentation/drawingtext.html
shows you how to draw text.
The documentation section:
http://www.yvs.eu.com/documentation/graphicwindowdoc.html
describes graphic/window documents, showing you how to do your drawing in a window or offscreen.
The documentation:
http://www.yvs.eu.com/documentation/exportinggraphic.html
describes the graphic export object which is used for exporting your graphics.
To configure iMagine Photo to run as a background only application (doesn't show in the dock) see the documentation about 2/3rds of the way down:
http://www.yvs.eu.com/documentation/imaginephoto.html
I hope that helps.
Kevin

Hello again !
This time i´m looking for a tool that allows med to create a jpgimage in my choice of heigt/width/resolution and populate it with text, to make it a bit easier i don´t want to use Photoshop, Graphic converter or something like that... is there a GUI-less application that can help me with this...?
If not with is the best app with a gui to do this, i´ll put a dime on Graphic Converter but maybe someone knows a better way !?
Cheers, Stefan
