ok i'll turn on the SPQX Text Clarifier & Spell Control:
venturing slowly but boldly into shell scripts....
the DATE shell script where the syntax is explained fx. in this webpage:
http://lists.apple.com/archives/applescript-users/2002/Mar/msg01245.html
( BTW its amazing how changing &y to %Y can change year from 05 to 2005 )
however the month is giving me some bother !
&m returns 02
but what is the code to ditch the front zero ?
so I get 2 stead of 02 ?
(ok, I know I can ditch it with normal applescript outside the shellscript)
