iCal not saving passed events

Hi all,

I'm sending iCal a create new event script (managed through an On Call via REALbasic), which dutifully shows up on the schedules (and all seems fine), however, when I quit iCal and reopen it, none of the events added by this above method are there. It looks like iCal is not saving those events made from the script (called via RB). Does anyone know why this is, and if so, how to fix it?
