Hello Dave,
You are right about making a PDF. I want to use "do shell script
"pstopdf " PSFile" to create the PDF because I can use the script on
every machine without installing extra applications. I prefer to make a
script less other applications independed if you know what I mean.
I If anyone know how to drop the resolution when i'm converting the
postscriptfile to PDF with a standard shell command from from panther
like "pstopdf" the problem is also solved.
thanks for the helping me Dave, and Ghostscript is a good solution if
there's no other way to make an pdf without extra applications.
greetings bastiaan

You might not have a whole lot of control over the resolution of the
Postscript file. Assuming you're using it to create a PDF file, why
not do
the resolution drop when you create the PDF using Distiller or
Ghostscript?

Hi luca
I have already tried that and it will not have any effect. The
pictures
in the Postscript file are not 72 DPI.
But thanks anyway
