Others may not share that opinion, and that's fine with me
The truth is that people have different styles
of learning, and what works for some doesn't work
for others. I'm a reader myself, so I lean
heavily that way. It's the most efficient way for
me to learn. But lots of people don't learn
efficiently that way. I'm not much on sitting
through training sessions, and lately I've found
it tedious to give them. And I don't much like to
plunge in and just mess around without having
read something first. But lots of people just
want to start hacking away. To me that's a very
ineffective way to learn.
Sorry I can't help you with the trainer
recommendation, but I'm going to forward your
message to someone in New York who probably can.
I hope you get a good one. Sitting through a bad
training day is such a waste.
