Again, that does nothing for applications that don't work in XML. Suppose I
have an app like BTVPro, a highly scriptable video application, and I want
to insert a clip into a pages document?

I do it manually, or I twaddle the XML directly, figuring out all the XML
for embedding movies where I want them to be, moving the movie into the
pages bundle.

bah

I can script this in almost every other WP/DTP application out there. Pages
is only useful if your entire integration needs are defined by Keynote.

You can use Krazy Glue in lieu of surgical stitches. For when you¹re, you
know, too poor to go to the emergency room. Or trying to avoid explaining
things to the police.
