I want to delete unused master pages. I'm not sure that I've got the
syntax right, though I've tried so many combinations now that I can't
remember them all. Can anyone see what I'm doing wrong?

You're not allowing for the fact that QXP returns object references
that
are index based -- 'spread 1 of master document "Document1"'. Every
time
you delete an early spread, all later references are out of sync.
You probably need to get the index of all used spread, sort them from
highest to lowest, and then start deleting them.
If only I could! This is the error message that I get when I go back
to front:
delete last spread of master document 1
--> last spread of master document "#LGK_S_114_115_Variable_Stars.qxd"
doesn't understand the delete message.
