Well. I'm in the same timezone as Paris, but this returns a result that is
off by one hour for me. Not sure exactly why. Perhaps a dayligght saving time
issue?

current date
--> date "Tuesday, 2005 July, 05 23:09:32"

set currentDateInParis to (current date) - (time to GMT) + (1 * 3600)
--> date "Tuesday, 2005 July, 05 22:09:32"
