Maybe. But the reason why Martin's trick is useful is that Automator is
built into every Tiger-running computer. Therefore, if you've distributed a
little regular compiled AppleScript or applet it will work there without any
further installation needed. To use any other Studio-based app, you'd have
to include it with your script, and you have to launch it to access it for
call method purposes - you definitely would not want it to start up bouncing
in the dock, for sure. Still, it could be useful for running your script in
OS 10.2 and 10.3.
