I was beginning to be tired to receive this kind of message from Mr
Bruce Robertson:
The link doesn't work because it is encoded incorrectly and needs to be
fixed. I helped you by providing the details which identify the
problem.
Please stop being such an ass and get your web page fixed.
1 - I explained that the links are not pointing to MY web site but to
my friend's Peggy's iDisk.
2 - Peggy sent me these messages:
a-- I go the same error. It's working well on the
http://homepage.mac.com/pldelise/FileSharing4.html page. I've been
having problems getting the .Mac main page to show up consistently
today, so that may be the problem. It's done this before & has fixed
itself later.
b -- I guess it's a good idea to give both links for the files. They
go to exactly the same folder. That one file has given problems
before. Perhaps it would be best to use the filesharing4 link for it
each time.
3 - as the same folder works flawlessly from filesharing4 and with an
oddity from filesharing5, I would be surprised that the oddity is due
to a name encoding problem.
4 - I must say that as I already met oddities with the filesharing5
link (seems that it may be linked to it's graphic interface) I choose
to pass only the filesharing4 link. You (Gary) passed it and I just
explained that the two are in fact pointing to the same set of files.
So, the "ass" ask to Mr Robertson : please, learn to read before
treating some one of "ass".
