Hi,

I'm using a folder action to move a file around, and I would really like to be able to get the name of the file without using the Finder.

I can get the path to the file without the finder but not the name by itself.

Any help would be appreciated.

on adding folder items to this_folder after receiving these_items
set myfile to item 1 of these items as string
    -- get filename?
end adding folder items to
