You could check out the Mac::Glue module available on CPAN.

Full-on perl, though.  I haven't been able to grok it, but haven't
given it much effort, either.
I haven't seen anything that let's you intermix the syntaxes of the
two languages as seemlessly as you'd expressed hope for.
