need Digital Asset Management advice

  • Subject: need Digital Asset Management advice

I am currently helping my office survey vendors for a asset/content
management system. I am trying to stress the applescript angle as much as
possible so that I can add automation and customization myself without
relying on costly support from the vendor.
Does anyone out there have some experience that they could share, as far as
who are the most/least applescript friendly? We are currently looking at
Stibo, Rhythmix, North Plains and Quark CMS(through an integrator). The
system will be used to manage photos and quark pages as well as tons of
product info(text).
Any advice on this subject would be most appreciated.
Thanks,

Alex
