This is very interesting and concise, and certainly deserves storing
for reference, thanks has.
What I think would be an interesting extension to your presentation
is to explain what happens to the shallow copies, the deep copies, or
whatever when they are passed to a handler. I wonder whether you
could make that as clear as you did here.
