QXPScriptingAdditions

Some of my users are installing Quark 6.5. It also includes the QXPScriptingAdditions.osax.

If memory serves me correctly this osax used to have a bad reputation. Are these issues solved in its current incarnation, or should I take precautions?

I searched the archives, but found less than I thought I remembered.
