Hmm... close! While it does produce "false" when run in the script editor, it produces "true" when run under FastScripts, and probably anything else that works similarly. I want, in that case, for it to return false. FastScripts runs the script in a script application by itself, without launching it as an app. So the file itself is a script application, but it is being run as a script, not an application.

My "(class of parent of parent) is script" hack seems to work, but for how long?
