If you are using Tiger then I'd say that I'd say that getting
information from the dictionary is quite difficult :-(
IMHO Script Editor 2.1 has a poor dictionary browser. Searching for
Terminology is easy - as long as you already know what you are
looking for.
Personally I use Script Debugger, which still has an old-school
dictionary layout. If I do a "find" within the dictionary for terms
that I know that QuickTime uses to describe window views: half,
normal, double etc - it will find the terminology instantly.
Doing the same with SE 2.1 comes up with nothing.
So you then have to browse using an annoying interface that mixes
panels for navigation with a results pane that sits below rather than
to the right. This is so unintuitive and means that you quickly get
lost if the app has a sizable dictionary.
