I converted many of my scripts from 4.11 to 6.x with minor and serious problems but never had a problem with picture box bounds.
Please attach same of your code.

I don't know why Quark uses this unusual QXPScriptingAddition. I presume that in version 6.x they allready made parts of the transition to the new DOM which is announced for QXP 7.0. Maybe Quark moved the old functions outside to QXPScriptingAddition and they have allready a better api inside the application.

OK --

I tried just porting over the bounds of scripts from OS9 (QXP 4.11) scripts
to OS X (QXP 6.5) and they were broken, not being placed where I wanted
them.

I tried removal of the QXPScriptingAdditions thingy-doodle, and now I got
some low-level code I can't read in the property listings of the picture
box, and boxes still not where I wanted them.

I re-install the QXPScriptingAdditions, redrew the box, got its bounds
(different than 4.11), used those, and now it works.

Someone PLEASE tell me what is up with this -- I know there are more out
there than me converting scripts from 4.11 to 6.5.

I'm gittin' very paranoid now.
