But it is recordable. It's just that it only records what it want to, such as UI things like selecting, moving and resizing windows, or changing views.

Hang on -- it now seems to do naming, too. And making folders. Just nothing
like moving, duplicating, deleting. Useless stuff like that.

I don't recall the exact chronology, but I think in 10.0 it was recordable, but badly broken (to the extent that you could record something but then it wouldn't run). Then in 10.1 it was not, then in 10.2 or 10.3 it became recordable again, but not to the extent it had been in OS 9.


 And the OP expects the documentation to be up to date? Just imagine.
