I am using FileMaker Pro 7 to do just this. I call a couple FM scripts from an
AppleScript to do the communicating. Let me know if you like a few snippets...

Jason, I don't what FM connectors are working with _MS_ SQL, but perhaps

Thanks for your response, Gary. I'll have to look into that option as well.
I forwarded a couple screenshots to Jason...didn't send to entire list, for obvious reasons. However, here's the information for the FileMaker Plugin I use to connect to query MSSQL.
I use 'Actual SQL Server'. It's a plugin available from http://www.actualtechnologies.com/ . It's $29.95, and it has worked flawlessly.
