scripting how to print

  • Subject: scripting how to print

it shouldnt be a secret that my ventures into applescripting are 100 % based on actual needs and wishes from my daily workload

so here goes;  based on

http://www.apple.com/applescript/print/

i elaborated on the script shown there so it would fit my needs
but I still need to make some adjustments;

how to  script the options in the  print  window;

mainly which 'preset' to use and how many copies

and most important which pages of a document that gets printed

i've googled a bit about this but the results arnt conclusive (or perhaps I just dont understand shell scripts enough ;-) )

perhaps system events ?

anyone tried this ?

any feedback is as usual very welcome
