launching services..

I seem to remember reading a query one day about launching services from terminal.. For lack of a better word doing the opposite of a 'kill' from the terminal is what im looking for..

To explain myself a little further, I have Filmaker Server Advanced running on a Jaguar box, I find that every couple of days someone is doing something to make the Web Services shut down (In terminal it is "FM Web Pub". I'm looking for a way to remotely re launch just that process so that I don't have to reboot the entire server..

Sorry if my terminology is a bit wrong, but I'm not sure of the correct terms..

Any help would be appreciated

thanks

Wayne Melrose
