That makes sense. Since the 'System' option isn't available here, the System is searched whenever it is contained by the search target. (For example, searching "Everywhere" or "Local disks" turns up matching System items, while searching "Home" doesn't.) I prefer the approach in Panther. Thanks for the clarification.
