Title: Re: Found records count in Filemaker 6/OS X-Solved
I figured it out. In my sample I used “document” but in reality I was using “database”. So if you ask for a count of records in “database XYZ” you get the entire count. If you ask against “document XYZ” you get the found count. What threw me was I had a tell to the “database” and later tried a “of document “xyz.fp5” within the tell to the Database xyz.fp5 and it wouldn’t work. I changed the outer tell and it now works.

Works fine for me (FMP 6v4).
Check that the database exists and is open.
Make sure that you have an up-to-date copy of FileMaker Pro. Earlier
versions of FMP 6 has some AppleScript issues IIRC.
