What do you expect from this forum - sympathy?

If you're selling solutions based on freeware to your client you should have
advised them of the risks involved.

Pay the developer to do some more development or download the source code
and do some development work yourself.

Whining about it on a forum full of people who publish free scripts and apps
isn't the best way of dealing with *your* problem.
