Has nobody ever heard about this problem?
Do you need any more information like the apple script?
It's really very urgent.

I've got an problem with an apple script after we updated an
Mac from OS9 to OSX 10.3.8.
I've updated the old script (changed the paths) and now it won't work.
When I start the script I got the error
Can't get <<constant SlstSlal>>
Is there anyone who heard something about this error?
Any response would be welcome.
I'm afraid I can't offer any direct help here, Jürgen - since I don't
currently use the apps in question and «constant SlstSlal» doesn't
compile any differently in OS 9 or OS X here. However, you might still
like to check a couple of things:
Firstly, did you have any third-party scripting additions installed in
OS 9 that haven't been added to OS X?
If you still have an OS 9 machine knocking around, you could try
entering «constant SlstSlal»* in a Script Editor document there. When
you compile the 'script', the constant may translate into a more
human-readable term - which would at least give you a better clue as to
what you're looking for. If that doesn't work, place the raw constant
into a 'tell application...' block, targeting each of the applications
in turn. Any change from compiling may indicate that the code is an
application constant - and which application is actually involved. If
the code turns out to be an application constant, you could then check
any differences between the OS 9 and OS X versions of that
application's AS dictionary.
(* Um... I'm sure you already know this, but just to be on the safe
side; don't forget that the enclosing chevrons are keyed in as option-\
and shift-option-\.)
Best of luck...
