Is there a way in Applescript to properly encode the URL for HTTP posting?

Here's my personal favorite, from <http://www.apple.com/applescript/scripteditor/12.html>.

I'm sorry, but I wasn't exactly clear. What I'm looking for is a way to escape quotes in Applescript - I still want to use PHP to do the full URL encoding as it's way faster than Applescript.

That code snippet looks good, though - I'll have to store that for later!

Neil
