Automator Multi step shell actions

  • Subject: Automator Multi step shell actions

I also sent this request to the Automator list but there isn't much traffic
there yet.

I can't seem to figure out how to execute a multi-step shell action.

A singe step will work:

 ls

But these don't work:

 ls > ~/desktop/dir.txt

or:

 cd /applications/ ; ls > ~/desktop/dir.txt

All of the above work OK in terminal.
