Great to see this addition to be standardized! For my use of xml, this first version of the XML suite is insufficient. There is no way to control comments or CDATA, and there is not support for character encoding (so that it is handled both in the xml-declaration and in the content). I will continue to use Satimage's XMLLib.osax until XML suite has evolved to the next level.
