Do what yo0u always had to do for file creator or file type - why should
this be any different? The only way to know the 4-character file type is to
do an 'info for' or ask the Finder. This is exactly the same. Well, it would
be interesting to hear if there's a list somewhere, like in the old File
Exchange control panel in OS 8/9. I suppose. Pretty soon you'll know a
number of them by memory, just like you do for file types. At least with
these you don't have to try to remember which characters are upper case.
