Well, I've just written a Python wrapper for OSACopyScriptingDefinition(), and right way I can see the problem's not just with Script Editor failing to display element accessor info, but also at the system level: OSACopyScriptingDefinition() is throwing out irreplaceable accessor info when cross-compiling aetes to sdefs.

This means that _all_ dictionary viewers using this particular API will be affected - not just SE - which is a real pain in the butt. I'll file a proper bug report on this in a few days' time once I've done some more shaking down, but I'm sure Chris and other Apple engineers are reading this meantime, so please folks, fix this API for 10.4.1.

Regards,

has
