LOL.

"ls -la", where have you been for 20 years? Last I saw you, we were in a
smelly basement lab in Blacksburg.  Well, I did see you that once when I had
to telnet in for a quick edit, but still. You look good, girl. You've hardly
changed one bit.

Regarding 'cryptic commands' and such, Jef Raskin's take on OS X is that it
is a step backward for the Mac.

Okay, that's arguably true, if one thinks that OS X nailed the coffin on the
Mac OS, but wrapped a wonderful Mac UI around the Unix OS.  It's also true
that it is a great step forward for humanizing the Unix OS. And AppleScript
on Unix?! Get out! Now that's lethal power, and I'm all for it, warts and
all.
