The only problem with those is that it states: OS 9 or earlier, with no
indication that they're carried over to OS X.

Just a slight correction, it's MacErrors.h, located in
/System/Library/Frameworks/CoreServices.framework/Versions/A/Frameworks/CarbonCore.framework/Versions/A/Headers/
