I believe the OP (post not carried forward?) wanted to change the _creation_
date/time of the file. 'touch' can change the modification and access time.
There was a recent discussion of this on this list, I thought. Check the
archives at <http://lists.apple.com>.
The OP also referenced changing the file creation date in OS 9 by script.
I'd like to see that script, because I did not think that was possible
without creating a new file and then moving the data (which the script may
do, of course, but I'd like to see.)
