The closest I can get is the "echo" command, but then I get a command AND the text:

tell application "Terminal" to do script "echo 'I want to suppress this command and only see the text...' " in front window
Is there a way to only print text to Terminal?

tell application "Terminal" to do script "clear; echo 'I want to suppress this command and only see the text...' " in front window
