Stopping the create account dialogue appearing on first run of Mail.app

  • Subject: Stopping the create account dialogue appearing on first run of Mail.app

Hi, I have created an AppleScript that succesfully creates and sets up
a pop email account in Mail.app, and if the account already exists, it
updates the account. All settings are set including the SMTP server
settings.

However I find when i run the script, if there is no accounts created
in Mail, i.e its the first time Mail has been run, I get a dialogue
box "Welcome to Mail" and there are fields to populate to create an
account. There are 2 buttons, "Quit" and "OK".

The script works but this is annoying because the user has to click
Quit, and i want the e-mail creation to be done silently.

I was wondering if there was anyway using appleScript to disable this
dialogie or when it appears to auomatically click quit.

Any help greatly appreciated,

Cheers,

David :o)
