I'm sympathetic. HTML posts seem to be a lottery with regard to what receivers actually see on their screens. Back to plain text, then.

I reverted to plain text a while back too, Nick.

Things may have improved recently in Mail.app, but the most frustrating aspect of this issue for me is that it often seems to lose spaces in styled text. Consequently, when copying/pasting any posted code into Script Editor, it's necessary to wade through the entire script and manually reinsert the missing spaces. (Depending on the formatting and variable labels used, it's not always that intuitive to guess where they belong, either.) Pity. :-/
