Hi --

Quick question, and I hopefully haven't already missed the ansewr.  (A
Google search & a list search turned up nothing...)

Is there any way to get the Spotlight file metadata natively through
applescript?  Currently I'm getting it out of a shell script (see below),
but I wondered if there was a native Applescript interface that I've missed.

   set URL_info to do shell script "mdls -name kMDItemWhereFroms " & POSIX
path of this_item
