I restored my system from a recent Tiger backup recently, and the Folder Action assignments were messed up. The left hand pane in the Folder Actions Setup was populated with strange files (including a font, if I remember rightly), rather than the "Desktop" and "Documents" folders I had set up originally. It looked like it had chosen, say, "file number 13987 on the hard disk", which was right originally but not when backed up and restored.

I'd defintely urge caution if you use Folder Actions in Tiger and ever need to restore your system from backup.
