Hey all,
We are an independent newspaper and I am trying to come up with a
way to do some in house image tracking. We save the PostScripts of
output every day and I was wondering that if I turned them into PDF's
would there be some way to find out what either the filename of an
image is or the title inside of the image is.
For example. I downloaded and converted the PS into a PDF on my
desktop. Opened the new PDF and got image properties from an image.
It shows me the title of the image. i go to "Export All Images"
inside Acrobat 6 (on a mac) and export all the images. I then open
the image in Photoshop CS 2 and try getting the info from them, not
there. I tried importing the images directly into PS CS2 and still,
no image info is carried over.
Does anybody know of a way to get the image info (specifically
title) as a batch process? Ultimately I would a want to get it in a
text file / list format so I could script some comparison scripts to
see which images are actually used.
Any help in getting this initial info is appreciated!
Chris
