Title: Re: Problems with Terminal on 10.4.3
Daniel,
My terminal had the default preferences what ever it is, because I don’t know how to use it, so for the same reason I don’t think that it run anything at all.
The other day I download a lot of apple script scripts from many different web site and I just was trying to know what’s inside, so one of them, even now I don’t know which one, open the terminal and do something (??)
So, until now that I’m reading the book “Unix for Mac OS X Tiger Visual Quick Pro” to learn something about Unix and terminal, I found that it doesn't work at all.
The preferences say “Execute the default login shell using /usr/bin/login”
Thanks

Carlos - is it possible that you're Terminal is configured to run a shell that is no longer on your system?
What are your settings for what Terminal runs when it opens a new window? You can see this in the Terminal Preferences.

My question is not exactly about AS, but my problem began running one of it, so maybe some one can help me
Some days ago I run an As Script that use the terminal, and since then I open my terminal window and I can only see the little red circle to close the window. I try to solve this trashing com.apple.Terminal.plist and even trash the Terminal application and all I can found in my Mac about terminal but the problem persist.
I copy a fresh terminal app from other Mac or from the Installer disk, restart etc. but I can’t resolve the problem.
Does any one knows how to reinstall just the terminal? Or are there any other way to solve this little problem without to reinstall all the system? I’m on 10.3.4
Any suggestion?
TIA
