That's right. It really is a pity. My world changed when I found out about
XPaths.
Even more fun is to use XSLT. It is Xpath-like (in fact it uses Xpath
syntax) and lets you mine your XML data and output it in a format that you
know, so you can then parse it in some other way. Late Night Software has a
cool XSLT osax. m.
