The 'delay' command no longer locks up the processor when run from
Script Editor and other previously problematic contexts. This also
fixed the identical processor issue with the 'pause' action in
Automator. However, this change has caused problems for AppleScript
Studio projects that contain both delay commands and an idle handler,
as discussed on the studio list (see http://lists.apple.com/archives/
applescript-studio/2005/Nov/msg00002.html ) This error manifested
itself in the form of a "-1762" error on a variety of apps such as as
OnyX (see http://www.titanium.free.fr/pgs/english.html )
Also, a bug was fixed in 'do shell script' that caused successive
calls 'with administrator privileges' to invoke the incremental delay
imposed for security purposes (see http://lists.apple.com/archives/
applescript-users/2005/Nov/msg00172.html )
I've yet to hear what exactly was changed with the 'system info'
command.

The release notes for 10.4.3 hint that something changed in
AppleScript (see http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?
