Not to hijack the thread, but as a person who is always logged in
remotely (and a lurker--hi nice applescript people!), is there a way
to use applescript with out being logged into the window server and
not be root? I could be root, but I can't leave the computer logged
in as me (other people like to use the machine logged in as
themselves), and I have yet to find an osascript that will so much as
look at me without being logged in.

thank you,
Anne Tester
