I thought 'icon note' simply inserted the icon of the targeted
application. On testing further this appears to be true on my system,
except that when no application is targeted the icon is that of the
script running application. Script Editor shows a script icon, a
script saved as an application shows a script application icon, a
script run from FastScripts shows the FastScripts icon... and the
only script runner I found that shows a generic App icon is the
default system script menu. I imagine this might be configurable
somewhere in the system files. You can get a mac face by running
tell application "Finder" to display dialog space with icon note
As for the 'talkie face' icon, I think you'd have to download that
from somewhere and put it inside your script bundle / resource.

icon? Whatever happened to the Mac talkie face? Any way to get him

What all icons are available, and how do I list them?
